Individually Frozen Boneless Skinless Breast | 5 lbs. | 10-15 Pieces

Bought these two weeks ago at Walmart. Defrosted in refrigerator overnight and grilled this afternoon. These had a horrible aftertaste, almost metallic. I’ve been the main cook in our household for better than 40 years. I know how to cook chicken. This wasn’t a “preparation issue”. This was clearly a product issue. This package has a Dec 26, 2025 packaging date with a “sell by” date of Dec 26, 2026. Why is the world allow a retailer like Walmart to hold frozen chicken breast in the freezer section for a full year?

You will receive weird pieces from time to time and if you complain they’ll ask 100 questions about how did you defrost it and cook it and when did u buy it and the package number
